To maximize the impact and output of the CRUCIAL project, INLECOM proposed organizing a specialized workshop on the 8 May 2023, aimed at enhancing the consortium partners’ understanding of patents.
During this workshop, INLECOM shared their extensive expertise, informing participants about what innovations and discoveries can be patented. They also covered various patent strategies and approaches, providing valuable insights into the patenting process and how to effectively protect intellectual property within the scope of the project.

The CRUCIAL consortium held its second General Assembly on February 10, 2022.
The meeting was held virtually once again, during which all consortium representatives discussed and decided to extend the project’s duration by one year.
The COVID-19 pandemic had a particularly significant impact on CRUCIAL compared to other research projects. This was largely due to the nature of our studies, which involve conditions that increase vulnerability to COVID-19, and because many of the physicians involved were reassigned to patient care during the pandemic.
